**1. 什么是旅游税？** 旅游税（TTx）是指从2017年9月1日起，所有外国护照持有者在马来西亚的住宿场所需缴纳的税款。该税款由经营者收取，每间房每晚收取固定的RM10.00。 然而，在新冠疫情期间，马来西亚政府宣布对所有外国护照持有者的酒店住宿免征旅游税，适用于2020年3月1日至2021年12月31日之间的住宿，之后又延长至2022年12月31日。 现在，马来西亚政府已宣布，从2023年1月1日起，旅游税将重新开始征收。   ## **2. 每晚每间房的RM10是如何应用的？** 假设John（菲律宾人）预订了一间房一晚，John需缴纳的旅游税为RM10.00 x 1间房 x 1晚 = RM10.00。 在第二种情况下，假设Dianne（印度尼西亚人）预订了两间房三晚，她需缴纳的旅游税为RM10.00 x 2间房 x 3晚 = RM60.00。   ## **3. 从2023年1月开始，这对旅游业有什么新变化？** 自2017年9月以来，外国客人在马来西亚任何“住宿场所”入住时，需缴纳旅游税，无论通过线上预订还是现场入住，该税款由经营者在入住时收取。 然而，从2023年1月1日起，对于通过提供预订服务的数字平台（如booking.com、Agoda、Expedia）进行的预订，平台将直接从外国客人那里收取旅游税，当客人在平台上完成预订和在线支付时，平台将向马来西亚皇家关税局（RMCD）上缴所收取的税款。 如果预订是通过平台进行的，但付款是在住宿场所进行的，旅游税将在客人抵达时由住宿经营者收取，该税款由经营者向RMCD上缴。 **更新！** 我们刚刚收到最新消息，目前只有Agoda会直接从客人那里收取旅游税并与房费一同支付。如果通过其他在线旅游平台（如Expedia、Booking.com和Traveloka）进行预订，旅游税将由物业经营者在客人入住时收取，直至另行通知。   ## **4. 如果预订是在2023年1月1日之前进行的，但入住日期是在2023年1月1日之后怎么办？** 如果外国旅客在2023年1月1日之前通过数字平台预订了住宿，且入住日期在2023年1月1日或之后，则旅游税将在客人抵达时由住宿经营者收取，住宿经营者需将税款上缴RMCD。   ## **5. 如果我的酒店没有注册旅游税怎么办？** 建议您咨询您的商业顾问或联系RMCD，了解是否需要注册为旅游税纳税人。通常情况下，如果您的住宿场所有5间以上的房间，您有义务注册。 您也可以访问以下网站了解更多注册信息：[https://www.myttx.customs.gov.my/](https://www.myttx.customs.gov.my/)   ## **8. 旅游税是否需要缴纳销售与服务税（SST）？** 不，经营者不得对旅游税征收销售与服务税（SST）。   ## **9. 日租房是否需要缴纳旅游税？** 不需要，只要日租费用不等于每晚的房费。   ## **10. 数字平台提供商是否必须收集私人数据，例如护照号码或身份证号码，以确保确认国籍？** 是的。数字平台提供商应对系统进行适当调整，以获取能确认旅客国籍的信息。   ## **11. 如果John在线预订住宿并提供了错误信息，导致未能收取旅游税，谁将负责？** 如果平台已尽职尽责地获取了旅客所需的信息，平台将不对旅客提供的不准确信息负责，导致未能足额收取旅游税的情况也由旅客承担。   ##
