SaaS System Analyst

We're selling to forward-looking hoteliers in South East Asia. Most of our customers are in Malaysia, and some are from the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.

We are looking for a System Analyst to own and govern our SaaS product releases and implementations. You will act as the bridge between Product, Engineering, Support, and hotel operations, ensuring releases are on time, production-ready, and operationally safe. This role also serves as the release gatekeeper, actively driving teams to meet deadlines while assessing readiness and risk.

 

Job Responsibility:

  1. Own end-to-end release readiness across Staging, UAT, BETA, and Production.
  2. Compile and maintain PRDs, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria to support development, testing, and release readiness.
  3. Recommend Go / Conditional Go / No-Go decisions based on system readiness and operational impact.
  4. Drive teams to meet committed release deadlines and enforce cut-off dates.
  5. Lead client-facing discussions during onboarding, implementation, and go-live.
  6. Identify and mitigate go-live risks impacting hotel operations, bookings, or payments.
  7. Continuously improve release, deployment, and onboarding processes.
  8. Contribute to defining functional requirements and acceptance criteria for feature improvement and new features.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  2. 2–4 years’ experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in a software or SaaS environment.
  3. Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, UAT, and release coordination.
  4. Comfortable pushing teams, enforcing deadlines, and escalating risks.
  5. Confident in making and defending release readiness decisions.
  6. Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Experience in SaaS Company
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Not Mandatory, but BONUS if:

  1. Experience in PMS, booking systems, or hospitality tech
  2. Familiar with Figma
  3. Experience in using ClickUp

Salary Range:

RM 2,800 to RM 4,000

NOTE: Do state your expected salary if you have more than 3 years of working experience in related roles.
