Although housekeepers are invisible to most guests, it’s the housekeeping department to ensure the hotel maintains high standards in cleanliness and puts forth a positive public image. As a housekeeping manager, your main role is to ensure cleanliness in the hotel. You are expected to manage the housekeeping staff and assign them duties. As the front desk manager, your job is to manage the front desk staff and assign them duties and their work schedule. In most cases, your hotel guests' reviews will depend on the quality of service from your front desk staff offered to the guests when they arrived. To get this position, you need to have a few years of experience in the hospitality industry or the food and beverage industry. The manager is responsible for the food and drinks sold in the hotel.
